After wife Evelyn passed, Frank married Blanche Ethel Sandgren (born Balcom) . Blanche was born on September 5 1891, in DeKalb, DeKalb, Illinois. Grand daughter Lynn said, "Frank was gruff and had quite a temper. The names of his horses were God Damn It and Son Of A Bitch." Lynn said when Frank said their names is the only time she heard him laugh." Lynn said he and Blanche would go to Florida most years and that Frank began to mellow.
